Rue Toullier

The slight bulge that runs the length of this street corresponds to the wall that enclosed the forum. The forum occupied a large rectangle-89 by 178 meters-covering almost the entire area between the present-day streets of Rue Malebranche, Rue Saint-Jacques, Rue Cujas and Boulevard Saint-Michel. The sloping terrain meant that the architects built the forum on several levels. Unfortunately, no trace of this building remains above ground.
